Corpo Musicale Santa Cecilia Besana Brianza
The historical core of the Association, directed by Maestro Armando Saldarini, engages primarily in concerts and services that accompany the main civic and religious moments of the community. The repertoire spans from parade marches to original compositions and transcriptions of classical pieces. Thanks to the dedication of its members and the support of a tireless team of volunteers, the Band has performed in important events and competitions, both in Italy and abroad, over the last decades.
Youth Band
Directed by Maestro Davide Miniscalco, it was born within the School of Music in 2001, and is composed of students attending wind and percussion instrument courses. Concerts, national competitions and study-holidays are just some of the activities that give young musicians the opportunity to grow in their instrumental practice and to understand and love music while having fun.
4K
The 4K Perfomance Ensemble is a winter guard group. Every year, the group presents a show to be taken to the European Color Guard Netherlands championships. In the current year, the group is pleased to announce its production “Levitating“, which deals with the theme of the body as a prison for the spirit.
