After being one of the initiators of the project Besana Marching Band (1994-1998), Simeon back to Bailey with renewed enthusiasm in 2003 as musical director.
Began his musical studies as a pianist under the guidance of M° Galloway, prima di iscriversi al Conservatorio di Musica di Milano dove si diploma in Tromba nel 1999. Nel frattempo frequenta la Scuola di Paleografia e Filologia Musicale presso l’Università degli Studi di Pavia e compie studi di armonia e teoria jazz presso la Civica Scuola di Jazz di Milano, where perfect technique and language under the guidance of Emilio Soana.
He has recorded for publicity and pop dealing with, beyond that of improvisation, the arrangement of the woodwind sections (Fausto Leali “Profumo e Kerosene”- EMI Music; Roberto Santoro “L’elisir del passionario”-Target; Back In Blues Band “Back on the Good Foot”-Kayman Records; Mario Benetti “Curam”-Universal).
Sempre come trombettista ha suonato in molti Teatri, Jazz clubs and festivals in Italy and abroad (“Lugano Estival Jazz 2002”; Iseo Jazz; S.Marino Jazz ; Festival Jazz di Sori ; Lugano “Blues To Bop”; ”Expo.02” Biel-Bienne (CH); Verona Jazz; Trasimeno Blues, Bolzano Jazz; Brianza Open Jazz 2008; Brindisi Blues; Vicenza jazz Festival, Rappersville Blues Festival (CH)…).
He also plays in some Big Band horn arrangements and care for various jazz ensembles, Blues, Funk e Soul. Da un paio d’anni collabora col bluesman americano Les Getrex.
In addition to concerts devoted himself to teaching in different schools of music.
Per BMB ha già arrangiato una parte dello Show 2009, but this year is proud to present its first original composition for marching band, entitled "Destination Moon".
Tony Sawyer is currently the band Director of the Elon University in North Carolina-USA.
Tony graduated in music and music education at Kennesaw University, and in 1995 He got his Masters in Percussion at Northern Arizona University. He performed in Arizona with the Flagstaff Symphony and the Flagstaff Festival of the Arts Orchestra, in Georgia with the Macon Symphony, Columbus Symphony, Cobb Symphony, Rialto Orchestra and the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra and in North Carolina with Elon University Orchestra and chorus and the Durham Choral Society.
Tony is a member of the Spirit f Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps (DCI), Bass Line and Snare Lkine. He also taught and arranged pieces for the Front Ensemble of Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps in season 1993.
Tony has taught and coordinated many high school with special emphasis on percussion. He also published material specifically for percussion with Row-Loff Productions of Nashville.
As a percussionist by orchestra, Jazz and pop, Tony has played in all States. He is an active member of the educational community music, teaching, providing advice and services to public schools.
Tony uses technology to its teaching, has recently developed a Bachelor's degree in music technology at Elon University.
Tony Sawyer is proud to be a part of the design staff for Bailey Marching Band as percussion arranger for the 2010 season. He is the Director of Bands at Elon University in North Carolina, USA.
He's an expert Drill Designer who wrote for many years choreography for high school, College and drum corps. Barry was a member of some of the most prestigious Drum Corps World: Carolina Crown, Bluecoats and Cavaliers.
During his experience with Cavaliers, Barry has got to try both as a member of the group in 2004 I like visual staff in 2006. In addition to performing in the States, Barry has had the opportunity to test themselves in Japan with the Aimachi Marching Band as well as in Europe, playing the role of Drill Designer for the Beatrix Drum & Bugle Corps.
We can mention among his experiences also in the US Army Band and Fiedl TMEA Honor Band as well as the U.S. Marine Corps.
Barry Janicula currently is the Assistant musical director of Lewisville High School in Texas, Barry got the diploma took the University of Houston and graduated from Elon University.
His artistic journey into the world of marching Band begins when a young man participates in the European Winterguard with Avant Courir Drum&Bugle Corps, Group that scored many successes both in Holland and at European level.
In 1993, only 14 years, fly in the States for her first experience at DCI with the Boston Crusades.
In 1996 join the Blue Devils, period during which manages to win 3 titles and 3 specialty titles with the Guards.
In addition to the DCI tour, Oscar also participates in Fantasy Winter Guard, with which he won the gold medal at WGI. During all these years, Oscar has had the honor to get in touch with special people like Scott Chandler, Karl Lowe, Stanley Knaub, TJDoucette and more.
After a few years, Oscar falls in Europe and began his career as a teacher. Since then Oscar draws for many groups in the Netherlands and across Europe, now most of the time oscar spends for his great love: the Beatrix.
The Guards of Beatrix currently are leaders in winter and summer European Championships.
Oscar promises with this collaboration to be a distinguishing factor for BMB colorguards and keep up the great and valuable work that the staff of Bailey has already undertaken with his enthusiastic and competent young group of girls.
