Besana Secutores + Mosson: Proceeds with Enthusiasm the aggregate project

30 hours of testing in a weekend! Record numbers those achieved by women in Besana and Mosson on weekends at the turn of may day, hard work but also a lot of fun and many satisfactions in three days of tight schedule, with them a special guest from the U.S.. to direct the operations: Preston Howard, marching arts instructor and visual designer, We made a brief but significant interview:

Hi Preston, Thanks for the willingness to begin to explain what you do for a living?
Hello everyone, I live in Oregon (Northwest United States) and I'm a choreographer and instructor for marching bands and drum corps, leisure time I enjoy with my two sons: Preston Jr. (13 years) and Georgia (8 years)

How long have you been involved in this activity and where you played/marched in the past?
I started in 1978 (38 years ago!) and I still haven't stopped, I marched with the Seattle Imperials and the Concord Blue Devils.

How did you know the Secutores and start your collaboration with them?
In 2011 I contacted a friend to design a drill show for a European Group, Since then our relations have become increasingly warm.

What impressions did you have to work with them?
I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with these guys! I wish them to have support, the opportunities and resources to grow and improve more and more.

What do you think of the merger project between Mosson and Secutores?
I believe that the project Mosson-Secutores is incredibly special! It is very important for both sides to continue their work despite the difficulties and is a role model not only in Italy but also in Europe! I sense among boys, the leaders and the community around them a great excitement and enthusiasm, Thank you so much for being a part of this project, too!

What do you think of the Italian reality of marching bands? How do you see the future?
I think they're facing a phase of "work in progress" (in a good way) and I believe that anything is possible if you have access to the resources and support needed to continue to grow.

What do you like most of Italy?
I love working with kids and meet people, i like your great locations and perceiving how important it is for you the "family", I have so many new people in Italy and for me their friendship is like a treasure!

Finally he gives us a quoute?
"Passionate hearts committed to a shared vision, can accomplish the impossible "
(Hearts fans engaged in a shared vision can achieve the impossible)
