L’Music Association Santa Cecilia Besana in Brianza nasce negli anni ’90 con l’obiettivo di gestire le molteplici attività nate dal nucleo storico e raccoglie circa 500 Members among students, musicians, generous contributors and valuable supporters.

Today the Association is a vibrant cultural reality that includes:

– the Music school "Piergiorgio Shore",
– the Concert Band,
– the Youth Band,
Bailey Secutores Drum & Bugle Corps,
– the Bailey Pep Band

In 2008, the province of Milan, Recognizing the valuable educational and cultural activities, la Grande ’ Gold Medal to partnership.
In addition to the intense musical activity in the territory and to the numerous trips in Italy and abroad, from 1984 the Association organizes the prestigious Multan International Band Festival, non competitive event, from 1985 every two years. The Festival features bands from all over the world by receiving major awards both institutional music. In 2003 He was honored by the presence of M° Riccardo Muti.

From 2014 chairs l ’ Association Mr. Angelo Motta.

 

The Association "Associazione Musicale Santa Cecilia Besana in Brianza"was founded in the 1990s.

Its aim has been the management of several activities of the association that is made up by nearly 500 members including students, musicians, generous contributors and valuable supporters.

In 2008, the Province of Milan assigned a gold medal for its valuable educational and cultural activities. In addition to various trips in Italy and abroad, since 1984 the Association has been organiser of the prestigious Besana Brianza International Band Festival, a non-competitive event held every two years since 1985. The Festival has been attended by bands coming from all over the world. In the 2003 edition the Festival was honoured by the presence of Maestro Riccardo Muti.

Since 2014, Mr. Angelo Motta has been President of the Association.
